What to Expect?

Our Sunday gatherings are rooted in Scripture, centered on Christ, and shaped by the historic Christian faith. Our worship is reverent but relaxed, and we want everyone to be able to participate.

Worship

Each Sunday, we sing a mix of hymns and contemporary praise songs, read Scripture, pray together, confess our faith, and celebrate the Lord’s Supper.

Biblical Preaching

We believe God speaks to his people through his Word. Our sermons are expositional, meaning we work through books of the Bible and seek to understand and apply what the text says.

Children Are Welcome

We love having children worship alongside their families! For children 2 and under, we also provide an in-room nursery corner staffed by trained, background-checked volunteers, giving little ones a safe and welcoming space while parents remain nearby and part of the service.

A Personal Community

Tampa City Pres is a new church plant. Our gatherings are currently smaller and personal as we focus on building a community of people who follow Jesus to serve Tampa with the hope of the Gospel.

Stay a few minutes after and enjoy coffee, bagels, muffins, and other refreshments.

Come as you are. There’s no expectation that you know what to do—we’ll guide you through the service as we worship together.
